American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

In response to your questions and concerns surrounding the "Stimulus Package"–otherwise known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)–SYNNEX created a strategy that enables our partners to:

1. Identify the agencies that will receive funding;
2. Find both federal and state "shovel-ready" projects and, more importantly, learn the specific IT procurement funding for each project;
3.  Work with our vendor partners to assemble a program that helps you succeed in securing funding

In many cases, federal funding follows the traditional disbursement routes to agencies as well as to state projects, so don't overlook your current customers! Reach out to them and find out what funding they intend to request from ARRA, how much they expect to receive, and where it will be allocated. We'll help fill in the gaps as we develop our database.

Be careful as you process your customers' purchase orders! Stimulus-based funding requires specific documentation and reporting to ensure "transparency." These requirements are detailed in the PO and it is incumbent upon you to comply.
